Motel 6 Willows, CA

I don't know if it's my own fault but I had asked for a room on the bottom floor because I have bad knees and I was given the handicap room which is normal for me because of my knee issues. But this handicap room just smelled like straight poop so that was kind of gross the whole night. Especially since it wasn't my poop. The staff was very friendly. The bug problem in that town is no joke. Comes 6:00 p.m. you need to be indoors so they're not kidding when they say that at the desk. My room came with mosquitoes already in it waiting for me so that was fun. The Chinese restaurant in the parking lot next to the hotel is closed on Mondays, but if you're there on any other day it's actually worth your time. They make good food. I had ordered from the bear restaurant nearby and that was not good food. I've stated this hotel many times on my trips to California to see family because of the Chinese restaurant specifically. It's just a normal motel 6 otherwise.

The room was the cheapest on the I-5 corridor and I drive it a lot. Clean, spacious room. And a smoking room!! I've never heard of such a thing in California. Very friendly staff. I even forgot my phone and charger in the room.Had to come back and they were all wonderful.

one of the better motel 6’s ive stayed at. room was clean and spacious. bathroom had a larger shower than typical and the beds were comfortable. the girl at the check in stand was kind and efficient.

Spent a very extended involuntary vacation with my family at the Motel 6 here in Willows. The rooms are quite nice and spacious, the fridge and microwave made our stay a whole lot easier and cheaper. The shower was amazing! The hotel is actually in a really great location as well, very near all of the fast food restaurants in town, not to mention most of the actual restaurants here, as well as the local dollar tree! The best part though was the very kind management and housekeeping staff. They were so amazing during our stay, even getting us an entirely new microwave when ours went out! Add in that pets stay free and they have a really nice grassy area for my dog, and this is definitely a great place to stay! They even have a nice fenced in BBQ/smoking area with a nice table and chairs to hang out! And guest laundry was another life saver! Would definitely stay here again!

Very good basic motel. Clean and comfortable. We stay here often when driving between Oregon and California. Well priced, good value.

Great stop on our way thru California; we have a small dog, and this was wonderful. Nice doggie area, quiet, even though the motel was nearly full. Staff was 100 % friendly, helpful and courteous

Spent a night here for much needed break off the road and my stay was absolutely outstanding. Maybe I got lucky with a perfect room .... no bugs, everything was very clean, smelled fresh, comfy bed, all lights worked great, lots of places to charge devices, hot shower, fluffy towels, very nice smooth high quality sheets, cold a.c., etc. Zero complaints. Mgr on duty - thinking he was the owner - was exceptionally helpful and friendly checking in. Huge mini fridge, microwave, dining table with 2 chairs added bonus. And the TV has great extended selection of channels. Wifi signal was great. The property is very nice overall, clean outside with well maintained grassy areas. It's obvious to me the owners take pride. Yes it's older and not as modern in finishes. Who cares ?! I travel full time driving cross country and this was a hidden gem for under $100 per night compared to the other hotel prices in the area. And Motel 6 doesn't add Pet fees !! Will definitely be staying again when I'm in the area. Thank you for a wonderful restful stay !!!!!!! 5 stars all around.

For a Motel 6, this was a nice stay. It has been recently renovated, however, a bit of a sloppy renovation but still fresh. Property was clean, but Motels are just loud in general with your door and windows opening up to parking directly in front of your door. Also, the upstairs floors creaked real bad so if you are a light sleeper, you will want to request an upstairs room. Close to food and gas stations. Great place to stay if you are in need of a night passing through.
